Trump Shot at Rally in Pennsylvania
Shots Fired, Not Figuratively…
Trump was campaigning in Western Pennsylvania and made a stop in Butler PA. Which is a rather small city under 15k population in the Greater Pittsburgh region. News before the Rally was swirling around his VP pick however by the time the rally was over the headlines changed quite a bit.
Duck & Cover…
From what I see in the video he gets hit in the ear by something. It may not have been a bullet at all, maybe a BB gun judging by the low volume. Unless it just grazed him there is no way a real bullet to the head would allow someone to continue standing like that. Eventually he gets down and it surrounded by Secret Service members as 8 – 10 shots are heard.
Quick Escape Seems Fine…
He grabbed his ear right after the shots then he was ushered to the car. On the way you can see him raising his fist. This will be seen as a moment of Triumph to his base and will be used extensively throughout the rest of his campaign. No doubt in my mind he is OK and he will use this to rally republicans even more.
Who’s Responsible & is he OK?
Judging by the way the video ends with him walking off the stage with or without his shoes not sure lol… Was it a democratic extremist? There are reports the shooter was a Biden donor. Maybe a MAGA fan trying to increase his chances of reelection? A ploy by his campaign to get more interest or donations? Maybe just some crazed wack job? Was it someone hired by Hilary Clinton, lol? Antifa Extremist?
UPDATES
The shooter was killed on a rooftop not far from where Trump was speaking. This rooftop was apparently out of the secret services view. Here is an interview of someone who saw the shooting and tried to notify the police and secret service for minutes as he watched the shooter “bear crawl” to a shooting position with a rifle.

The Shooter
Thomas Matthew Crooks – 20 year old man from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania was shot dead at the scene by Secret Service. An AR-style rifle was recovered and the shots were taken over 100 yards from the stage. An attendee was shot and is confirmed dead, others are reportedly injured.
Explosive Devices
2 were found in his car and a possible a 3rd when the FBI and ATF searched a home shared with his parents. The AR-15 was said to have been purchased by his father.
