Shooting at Old National Bank in Louisville

Another shooting has gripped the nation today, an employee at Old National Bank in Louisville Kentucky opened fire and killed 5 wounding 9 by the latest count including one officer (4/10/23).

According to Police he was said to have Live Streamed the incident and used a AR-15 type weapon. Apparently the footage does exist somewhere and the police are trying to scrub it from the internet. It was not said which live stream service he used.

A Hero Officer

An Officer Nicholas Wilt was shot in the head after rushing towards the gunfire to save lives. He was a rookie cop 10 days out of the academy and preformed like a hero. After emergency brain surgery the officer is said to be in stable condition. Along with him 2 other officers were injured.

The Selfish Gunman

He called a friend and told them he was going to kill everyone in the bank because he was feeling suicidal. Connor Sturgeon doesn’t appear to have a criminal record and was killed at the scene after officers responded. Police are unsure how he obtained the gun, but they were searching his home in Louisville.

Opinion

People these days value Human Life very little or they are too selfish to care about anyone else but themselves. We need to fix our mental health system to offer easier avenues of support for people that experience what he called “depression”. This is so selfish I believe there has to be something severely wrong with someone to be able to do something like this, the level of entitlement in the USA is astonishing.
